Generation Y is a group of people born between the years 1981 and 1996. These people are also called Millennials.
Millennials are very different from their parents or grandparents in many ways, and here are a few examples:
1. Millennial people really like technology! They’re always on their smartphones, laptops or tablets, and they love social media. They use it to communicate, learn new things and even shop.
2. They like to be independent and choose what they do in life. They call it ‘freedom’! This means that they may not want to work in traditional jobs and may start their own businesses, work for companies that offer flexible schedules or work remotely.
3. Millennials are passionate about causes and social issues. They believe in making a positive impact in the world and often participate in activism, volunteering and donating money to charities.
4. They value personal growth and self-care. They like to learn new things, take courses, read and practice mindfulness to improve their mental health.
5. Millennial people love experiences instead of material possessions. They like to travel, attend concerts, events and spend money on things that will create memories.
Overall, Generation Y is a diverse and unique group of people who value their freedom, technology, causes, self-care, and experiences.
