Generative design

Generative design is a way of designing things using computers. Instead of doing the work yourself, the computer uses an algorithm (a set of instructions) to come up with designs. It looks at the design problem and tries to come up with creative solutions that it thinks will work best. The computer looks at lots of different solutions and you can choose the best one or combine the best ones together to make something unique. You can also guide the computer to focus on certain things and look for specific solutions.
