ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Genocide justification

Genocide justification is when some people try to give reasons or excuses for why it's okay to hurt or kill a large group of people just because they belong to a certain race, religion, or cultural group.

This is really bad because everyone should be treated fairly and kindly no matter where they're from or what they believe. Nobody has the right to hurt or kill others just because they're different.

Justifying genocide also goes against important rules that many countries have put in place, like human rights laws. These laws say that people have the right to live and be safe, no matter what.

So don't let anyone ever tell you that hurting or killing others is okay just because of who they are. Remember that everyone is important and deserves respect and kindness.
