Geometric Brownian motion

Geometric Brownian Motion is a way of thinking about how prices move. It's like a game of bounce ball. Imagine an invisible ball bouncing up and down. It moves randomly, but usually stays close to the same place. Geometric Brownian Motion is like this ball but with prices. The price goes up and down, sometimes quickly and sometimes slowly, but usually stays in the same general area.
