Geopolitics is the study of the relationships between countries and how the physical features of a place, like its geography (the study of land and oceans and the way they are physically arranged on Earth) and its economy (the system of producing, buying, and selling things in a country) affect how countries act. It looks at how different countries interact with each other in terms of politics (the way people in different places control their lives), relationships between leaders of different countries, and in military (those people and things a country uses for protection and to fight in wars).
