Geothermal heating

Geothermal heating is a way of using the energy from inside the Earth's surface to heat buildings. The Earth's surface is very hot due to energy from the sun and the heat that is kept inside the ground. Geothermal heating takes advantage of this heat energy by using pipes that go deep into the ground. Water is pumped through the pipes and the heat from the Earth warms up the water. This hot water is then sent back up to the building and is used to warm it up. This natural energy from the Earth provides a free and clean way to heat buildings!
