German diaspora

The German diaspora is the movement of people from Germany to other parts of the world. This can include people who were born in Germany and moved somewhere else, as well as people who moved to Germany from another country. In both cases, the people are considered part of the German diaspora. The German diaspora started in the 1800s and has grown larger ever since. People have moved from Germany looking for more economic opportunities, a better quality of life, or to avoid conflicts or persecution. Many Germans now live in countries all over the world, with the largest groups in the United States, Russia, Brazil, and Argentina.
