Giant (mythology)

So there are lots of stories about giants in mythology. Giants are kind of like people, but they are really really really big! In some stories, giants are really powerful and strong, and they live in a place called a "realm" which is like their own special world.

Sometimes giants are friends with the gods, and other times they aren't. In some stories, the gods and the giants have big battles with each other.

In Norse mythology, there is a giant named Ymir who was the very first being in the world. He was so big that when he died, his body became the earth, the mountains and the seas.

And in some stories, giants have magical powers. They might be able to change shape or do other cool things.

Overall, giants are just really big and exciting creatures that are part of lots of different stories in mythology!
