Golden Light Sutra

The Golden Light Sutra is a Buddhist scripture that is over 2,000 years old. It tells the story of how the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, was able to attain enlightenment, or understanding of life and the universe. The story is written in a simple style, so that it can be understood by people of all ages. In the Sutra, the Buddha teaches that by understanding and following the path of Right View, Right Intention, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration, a person can achieve true happiness and inner peace. This path is often referred to as the Eightfold Path and is an important part of Buddhist philosophy. The Golden Light Sutra also contains other teachings and stories that are meant to help people understand the wisdom of the Buddha and apply it to their own lives.
