Golden hour (photography)

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a beautiful photo where everything looks warm and golden? That's what we call the golden hour in photography. It's a special time of day when the sun is close to the horizon and the light it gives off is soft and yellowish.

During the golden hour, the sun's light has to travel through more of the Earth's atmosphere to reach us. This makes it softer and warmer because the air scatters the light in different ways, creating beautiful colors and shadows.

Photographers love the golden hour because it's the perfect time to capture stunning photos with a warm and inviting feeling. It's also a great time to take photos outside because the lighting is much softer and easier to work with. Plus, the golden hour can make even the most boring scene look magical!

So next time you see a beautiful photo with warm, golden colors, you'll know that it was probably taken during the magical golden hour in photography. Pretty cool, huh?
