Government waste

Government waste is when money is spent by the government on things that don't help people. It's like when your parents buy you a toy that you don't need- it's just a waste of their money. So, when the government spends money on things they don't need or that don't help people, it's called government waste. This money could be used to help people like building schools or repairing roads instead.
