Gradient boosting

Gradient boosting is a way of creating a model that can predict an answer. It's like playing a game where you're trying to guess something. In the game, you have a list of questions you can ask and each time you ask a question, you eliminate some wrong answers and get closer to the right one. Just like in the game, gradient boosting asks a lot of questions, called "models", one after the other, and each model helps to improve the one that came before it. Gradient boosting combines the guesses of each model to create the best overall guess. It's like getting help from a lot of people to find the right answer!
