ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Grazing lunar occultation

Grazing lunar occultation is when you can see the moon cover part of an object in space, like a star, planet, or even a comet. It's called an occultation because you can't see the whole object, only part of it. Grazing means that only a small piece of the object is blocked by the moon. It is like when your mom covers your eyes with her hands, but only a little bit. It's kind of like playing hide and seek.
