Great Green Wall (China)

The Great Green Wall of China is a project to help protect China's environment. China is planting trees and shrubs along a 3,000 kilometer long wall that runs along China's northern border. The goal of the project is to stop soil erosion, protect wildlife habitats, create new jobs and plant more trees to help reduce the amount of pollution in the air. The wall will also create a barrier against sand storms caused by desertification. By planting more trees and shrubs, the Great Green Wall of China will also help reduce air pollution, which will improve the air quality in China.
