Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is a huge wall that was built in China a very long time ago, thousands of years ago to be exact! It was built by the Chinese Emperor to protect the people from being attacked by enemies. The wall was very long, it was about 4,000 miles long and it was so strong that it was really hard to break. It also had lots of watch towers every so often so people in the towers could look out for danger and warn the towns if the enemies were coming. It was a really long time ago, but the wall has been kept up and can still be seen today!
