Greek Baths

Greek baths were like going to a big spa with your friends! It was a place where people went to get clean and relax.

First, you would take off all your clothes and put them in a locker. Then, you would go into a big room that had pools of water. Some of the pools were hot and some were cold. You could jump in the cold pool to cool off and then relax in the hot pool to warm up.

After playing in the water, you would go to another room where people would rub oil all over your body. This was called anointing. They would use special oils that smelled good and helped make your skin soft.

Finally, you would go into a big room with lots of couches where you could relax and talk with your friends. You might even have some food or drinks while you hung out.

Overall, a Greek bath was a fun way to get clean and pamper yourself.
