Green home

A green home is a home that has been designed or built to be environmentally friendly. This means that the home uses natural resources like sunlight, wind, and water as much as possible, and uses as little energy (from electricity and gas) as possible. Green homes also use materials for construction that are made from recycled material, and use energy-efficient appliances. Most green homes also have features that reduce water use, like using grey water to water plants, and having windows with special coatings that reduce heat from the sun.
