ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Green industrial policy

Green industrial policy is when governments make special plans and policies to help industries and businesses to protect the environment in their operations. For example, they could give businesses money to help them buy new machines that don't pollute as much or they could set rules to stop companies from releasing too much pollution into the air or water. The idea is that these green industrial policies can help us to keep the planet cleaner and healthier.
