ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Grey literature

Grey literature is published material that isn't widely available. It can be things like reports, white papers and policy documents that have been written by academics, companies or governments, but aren’t usually published in books or journals. It's called "grey" because it is not widely read or known about and not always easy to find. Grey literature can be useful because it includes information that isn't normally available and can provide unique insights or data.
