Gross national happiness

Gross National Happiness (GNH) is an idea that a person's happiness is more important than the money they make. A country's GNH measures how happy people feel in that country based on things like social connections, good health, and feeling satisfied with your life. It also takes into account things like pollution, crime, and how people are treated in that country. The idea is that if people in a country are happy, the country will do well.
