Utilitarianism

Utilitarianism is a type of thinking that says when making a decision, it is best to choose the thing that will make the most people the happiest. It is best to think of it as "do the thing that will benefit the most people". It is a way to think about how to make choices that will bring the best overall result. So if you have to choose between two things, you should choose the one that will make the most people the happiest.
