Grout

Grout is like the glue that holds the tiles on the floor or wall together. When you have lots of little squares of tile, you need to put something in between them to keep them lined up and to fill the gaps. And that's where grout comes in! Grout is a special mixture of cement, sand, and water that is applied in between tiles to fill the gaps and keep them in place. It comes in different colors and can be smooth or rough depending on how it was mixed. So, just like you put peanut butter in between two slices of bread to keep them together, grout is used to keep tiles together and make them look nice and neat!
