The Guane people were a group of indigenous people who lived in what we now know as Colombia a long, long time ago. They were very clever people who were very skilled at farming and making pottery. They used to live in small villages made out of sticks and mud, and they would grow crops like corn and sweet potatoes to eat. They were also really good at making things with their hands, like bowls and jars to store their food in. They believed in lots of different gods and would have special ceremonies to honor them. Sadly, the Guane people are no longer around today, but we can still learn about their amazing culture and the way they lived.
