Guitar tunings

Guitar tunings are like special rules for how the guitar strings should be tightened. Each string needs to be tightened to a specific amount of tightness. That's what we call tuning. Different tunings can make the guitar sound different and give you different notes when you play. To tune a guitar, you use a tuning tool like a pitch pipe or an electronic tuner. You match each string with the correct pitch (which is a particular noise like a note on a piano). You'll keep matching notes until all the strings are correctly tuned. Once your strings are correctly tuned, your guitar will sound great!
