Gun boat diplomacy

Gun boat diplomacy is a way of getting a country to do something by threatening them with powerful weapons. It means having a country show off its military or naval power (boats with big guns on them) to make another country scared. This can be done so that the country with the guns can get what it wants, such as money or political power. It can also be used to try and get a country to change its laws or stop doing something.
