Police action

Police action is when the police come to help people. The police try to keep people safe and help them if they are in trouble. They might come if someone is being mean to someone else or if there is an accident. They also help catch bad people who have done something that is against the law. When they come to help, they do what is called an "action" - they might give warnings or arrest people.
