Gun carriage

Okay kiddo, so you know how soldiers and armies carry big guns around, right? Well, guns are heavy and they need something to help them move around. That's where the gun carriage comes in.

A gun carriage is like a special wagon that is designed to carry a really big gun. It is built with wheels and a frame that can hold the weight of the gun. The gun is placed on top of the carriage and tied down so it doesn't fall off.

When it is time to move the gun, the soldiers hook the gun carriage up to a vehicle, like a horse or a truck. The gun carriage then follows the vehicle as it moves. This way, the soldiers can easily transport and set up their gun wherever they need it.

Gun carriages have been used for a very long time, since before cars and trucks were invented. They were very important in battles because they allowed soldiers to move their guns quickly and easily.
