ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hand mould

A hand mould is like a special kind of tray that people use to make things out of different materials like clay or plaster. It's called a "hand" mould because you use your hands to push the material into the tray and make the shape that you want.

Think of it like making a cake. You have a special baking tray that you pour the cake batter into, and it shapes the cake into the size and shape that you want.

With a hand mould, instead of making a cake, you can make all kinds of things like figurines or plates or even parts for bigger things like buildings.

The reason why people like to use a hand mould is because you can make things very precisely, with exactly the right size and shape that you want. It's also a lot of fun to use your hands to make something completely from scratch!
