Hand pump

A hand pump is a device that lets you move liquids or gases from one place to another by using your hand. It's like a simple, mini version of the pumps you see at gas stations that let you put air in your car tires.

Let's say you have a bucket full of water that you need to move to a different location. You can't just carry the bucket with your hands, because the water will spill all over the place! So you use a hand pump.

A hand pump has two parts: the pump itself and a hose. The pump is usually made of metal or plastic and has a handle that you squeeze with your hand. The hose is connected to the pump and has a nozzle on the end that you can put into the bucket of water.

When you squeeze the handle of the pump, it creates a vacuum inside the pump that sucks the water up through the hose and out the nozzle. You keep pumping until all the water has been moved to the new location.

Hand pumps can also be used to move other liquids, like oil or gasoline, or even gases, like air. They are helpful when you need to move a small amount of liquid or gas and don't have access to an electric pump or other equipment.
