ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hardware architecture

Hardware architecture is like a plan for how a computer is set up, like all the different parts it needs to do its job - like a house plan for a house. It includes what hardware components, like a processor or hard drive, and how the components fit together and interact with each other, like a blueprint for the house. It tells us what these components need to do and where to put them. All of this is done so the computer can work correctly, in the same way a blueprint helps a builder to create a house.
