Hawker (trade)

A hawker is a vendor who sells things like food, small items, or services in public places like streets and parks. Hawkers don't have their own shop, but instead have their own little cart or table where they can set up and sell things without needing to pay rent. People go to the hawker to buy things like house-made snacks, handcrafted jewelry, or other small items or services.
