Head gasket

Okay kiddo, so you know how we have a brain inside of our skull? Well, a head gasket is like a seal that holds two parts of a car's engine together, like the brain and the skull.

The head gasket keeps oil and coolant from mixing together, and also helps keep the compression from leaking out of the cylinders. Think of the compression like the brain's ideas, and the head gasket is what keeps them all organized and flowing in the right direction.

Sometimes, the head gasket can break or wear out over time. This can cause a big problem for the engine because it won't work the way it's supposed to. The car might start to overheat and might even stop working altogether.
