Heian period
Okay kiddo, let me tell you about the Heian period in Japan!
Back in the olden days, a long, long time ago, there was a time called the Heian period. This was a time in Japan when things were very fancy and lots of important things happened. It was kinda like when you have a really fun party with your friends and everyone dresses up in fancy clothes and eats fancy food.
