Heliport

Okay kiddo, do you know what a helicopter is? It's a flying machine that can go up, down, left, right, and forward. So, a heliport is a special place where helicopters take off and land.

Think of a heliport like a special parking lot for helicopters. Just like cars need a parking lot to park, helicopters need a heliport to land and take off.

Heliports also have special markings, just like roads have lines and signs. These markings help the pilot know where to land, take off, and park.

Heliports can be found in all sorts of places, like hospitals, airports, and even on top of buildings! They're important because they let helicopters safely transport people, supplies, and even save lives in emergencies.
