Hemodynamics

Hemodynamics is the study of how blood moves through our bodies. Our bodies are made up of blood vessels, such as arteries and veins. The blood vessels move the blood around the body. This movement is called hemodynamics. It helps to get oxygen and food to all the parts of our body. When the blood flows, it creates pressure inside the blood vessels which pushes the blood around. We measure the pressure, flow and other things to understand how the blood is moving. Doctors use hemodynamics to help treat diseases and conditions that affect the heart and blood vessels.
