Heterogram (linguistics)

A heterogram is a fancy word for a word that doesn't have any of the same letters as another word. So, if you take the word "cat" and the word "dog," they are not heterograms because they both have the letter "o" in them. But if you take the word "cat" and the word "pen," they are heterograms because they don't have any of the same letters.

Basically, a heterogram is a way for people to try to come up with really unique words! It's like a fun game where you try to make a word that is completely different from any other word.
