Hexameron is a set of rules that explain how the six days of Creation in the Bible happened. The Bible says that the world was created in six days, and that God created everything in each of those days, including the stars and the moon, the sea and the land, and all living things. Hexameron is a way of understanding what happened in each of these days. On the first day, God created the light and separated it from the dark; on the second day, God created the sky and the sea; on the third day, God created the land and plants; on the fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars; on the fifth day, God created the fish, whales, and birds; and on the sixth day, God created animals and people. Hexameron teaches us that God's creation was perfect and beautiful, and that He did it all in six days.
