High-value target

A high-value target is someone or something that is very important and valuable. For example, if someone has done something bad and the police are looking for them, they could be a high-value target because there is a lot of value in catching them. Other examples of high-value targets might be things like important documents, or expensive items that someone might want to steal. To protect these kinds of targets, people will often use extra security, or give them extra attention.
