ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary

His majesty's inspectorate of constabulary is a group of grown-up people who work for the government to make sure that police officers are doing their job properly.

They visit police stations to see how the officers are working, talk to them and check their records. They also ask people in the community about their experiences with the police. This helps them know if the police are treating everyone fairly and following the rules.

Once they finish their visit, they write a report that tells the police what they are doing well and what they need to improve. The report is given to the chief of police and the government so that they can make changes to help make sure the police are doing their best job.

So, just like how a teacher grades how well a student is doing, His majesty's inspectorate of constabulary grades how well the police are doing their job.
