History of Bavaria

Okay, so Bavaria is a place in Germany where lots of people live. A long, long time ago, there were people called Celts who lived there. They had their own way of doing things and their own language.

Later on, other people came to Bavaria from Rome. They wanted to take over the land and make it part of the Roman Empire. They fought with the Celts and eventually they won.

After that, Bavaria was ruled by a bunch of different people over time, like the Bavarian dukes and the kings of the Franks. It became its own kingdom and even had a queen at one point, named Princess Therese.

In the 19th century, Bavaria joined together with other parts of Germany to form one big country. But they still have their own culture and traditions, like Oktoberfest and lederhosen. Nowadays, Bavaria is a really important part of Germany and lots of people love to visit there.
