History of China

China is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. It has been around for over 5,000 years! It started in a place called the Yellow River Valley. People there farmed, hunted animals, and made tools and weapons. Over time, people in the Yellow River Valley developed ways to live together, like having leaders or kings, and trading goods with nearby villages. As China grew, more people began to live in different areas, and they started their own cultures, traditions, religions, and ways of living. Eventually, these different cultures and kingdoms all came together to form the single country we know today as China.
