History of molecular evolution

Molecular evolution is the process of how things living on our planet changed over time. This means that what living things looked like and how they acted a long time ago is different than what they look and act like today. To understand how life has changed, scientists study the molecules inside the cells of living things to see how they are different today than they were in the past. By looking at how these molecules have changed, scientists can understand how life has evolved or changed over time.
