History of rape

Rape is when someone does something mean and bad to someone else's body without their permission. It is very wrong and always has been.

A long, long time ago, when there were no rules or laws, people sometimes thought it was okay to do whatever they wanted to someone else's body. Some people even thought it was okay to have sex with someone even if they didn't want to. But over time, people learned that this was very wrong and made rules to stop it from happening.

Even after rules were made, some bad people still did this mean thing to others. But as society grew and became more advanced, people started taking rape and sexual assault very seriously. Laws were made to make it a very serious crime, and anyone who was caught doing it would be punished.

Today, we are still working hard to make sure everyone knows that rape is never okay and the people who do it will be punished. We are also working to help and support the people who have been hurt by rape or sexual assault.
