Violence against women

Violence against women is when someone (usually a man) hurts or threatens a woman, who is usually smaller and weaker than them. It happens when someone uses force to control or harm a woman, and can include physical hurt like punching and kicking, sexual hurt like rape, or threats of harm, like saying they'll hurt the woman if she doesn't do something they want. Violence against women is never okay.
