Sexism

Sexism is a belief or action based on the idea that one gender is better than another gender. Most common gender stereotypes such as boys must be tough and girls must act a certain way are sexist ideas, because they don't allow everyone to be themselves and instead treat people differently depending on their gender. This has been a problem for a very long time and can harm people in many ways. It can lead to people in one gender being given opportunities or privileges that people in another gender don't have. It can also lead to people being mocked, mistreated, or even hurt because of their gender. We should all work to end sexism and create a more equal world for everyone.
