Feminist movement

Do you know what a superhero is? Well, sometimes people feel like others aren't treating them fairly just because they're a boy or a girl. And just like a superhero, they want to stand up for themselves and others who are being treated unfairly. This superhero group is called "feminists."

Feminists believe that girls and boys should be treated equally and should have the same opportunities to do whatever they want to do. For example, if a boy likes to play with dolls, that's okay! And if a girl wants to be a doctor when she grows up, that's okay too!

Feminists also believe that girls shouldn't be treated differently just because they look different than boys. For example, if a girl likes to wear a dress or play with makeup, that doesn't mean she's not just as strong or smart as a boy.

In the past, girls didn't always have the same opportunities as boys. They couldn't vote or go to school, and they were expected to only do certain jobs like being a teacher or a nurse. But because of the feminist movement, things have changed a lot! Girls can be anything they want to be, and they have the same rights as boys.

So basically, feminism is all about making sure everyone is treated fairly and equally no matter what they look like or what they want to do in life.
