Hodges–Lehmann estimator

Okay, imagine you and your friend are trying to figure out how much a bag of candy weighs. But instead of both of you guessing and arguing, you decide to do something called the hodges-lehmann estimator.

This is when you both take turns picking up the bag of candy and guessing how much it weighs. You write down your guesses and then find the middle number between the two. This middle number is called the hodges-lehmann estimator.

It's like having two good guesses and making a compromise to find a number that's in between. This is helpful because sometimes one person's guess might be higher or lower than the actual weight, but by taking the middle number, you get a more accurate estimate.
