Homosocialization

Homosocialization means spending time with people of the same gender. Just like how you like to play with your friends who are girls or boys, grown-ups also tend to spend time with people of the same gender. They might do this because they feel like they have more in common with them or they want to bond over shared experiences. It's totally normal and nothing to be worried about. It's just one way that people socialize with each other.
