Hostile attribution bias

Hostile attribution bias is when you think someone is being mean to you, even if they aren't. For example, if your friend says, "I need to go to bed now," maybe you think, "She must be mad at me," even though she isn't. It just means that you automatically think that people you know don't like you, even when they don't.
