Hotel Lambert

Okay kiddo, so a hotel is a place where people can stay when they're away from home. The Hotel Lambert is a special hotel in Paris, France that has a lot of history and interesting features!

The building was first built a loooong time ago, like over 400 years ago, and it has gone through a lot of changes since then. It used to be a big fancy mansion for a rich guy named Nicolas Lambert, but then it was turned into a hotel many years later.

One of the coolest things about the Hotel Lambert is that it has lots of artwork and decorations inside that are super fancy and beautiful. There are also big gardens and a really pretty staircase that people can walk up.

But here's the thing, kiddo: the Hotel Lambert has been closed for a long time because it needed some big repairs and updates. A rich guy named Safra bought it and wanted to fix it up and make it even fancier, but some people were worried that he might change too much of the original building and ruin the history and beauty of it.

So, there's been a big debate going on about what should happen to the Hotel Lambert. Some people want it to be fixed up and opened again as a hotel so people can enjoy it, while others want it to be protected and kept exactly how it is, so people can see what it was like a long time ago.

Right now, the Hotel Lambert is still closed and nobody knows for sure what will happen to it, but it's still a very interesting and important building in Paris with a lot of history behind it!
